Fiber optic cables

From our partner HFCL we deliver the complete assortment of fiber optic cables for the broadband roll out according to IEC 60794 based on VDE 0888 incl. A-D(ZN)2Y, A-DQ(ZN)2Y, A-DQ(ZN)B2Y for blowing into microducts as well as for direct deployment into the ground.

A-D(ZN)2Y FTTH Micro Cable

For building connection (network level 4) with bend optimized fiber according to ITU-T G.657A1 or alternatively G.657A2. Designed with central bundle element and non-metallic strain relief blow-in optimized for use in microducts in 10/6 and 7/4 design. Customized printing possible for all fiber optic cables.

A-DQ(ZN)2Y mini cable

Stranded loose tubes with central element made of glass fiber reinforced plastic for backbone and feeder level (network level 3). Optical fiber typically designed in G.657A1 with 250µm fiber or for very compact design with 180/200µm fibers. The older standard G.652D is also still available. Used in microducts 20/15 to 10/6.

A-DQ(ZN)B2Y standard outdoor cable

Suitable for direct burial and duct systems. With metal-free strain relief, robust and halogen-free outer sheath for limited rodent protection, longitudinally and transversely water-tight. For tough installation requirements we also offer A-DQ(ZN)2YSR2Y (fiber optic cable with steel protection). Other special cables such as aerial cables, ribbon constructions or extremely high fiber counts for backbone applications are available (e.g. 864 and 1728).
